Writer's Block: She's a brainiac on the floor [07 Oct 2010|12:49pm]
Would you rather be super-rich or super-smart if you would only be average in the other category?
Honestly I would probably rather be super smart if i had to choose. Money corrupts too many people. At least being smart will allow you to do more with your life. I believe that intelligence is more important than money.

Writer's Block: You and me and baby makes three [23 Sep 2010|01:50pm]
Do you think having children is a fundamental human right? Should there should be any restrictions?
Yes, having children is a right but I don't believe there should be a restriction on how many you can have. You should be able to look at how many you have now and decide whether or not it is a good idea to have any more. Common sense should come into play when deciding whether or not it is smart to have another kid.

Not sure exactly how long it has been since I have updated on LJ. God, it seems like forever ago but here goes. Met a girl over a year ago via the internet, am now in Missouri on an extended stay (until next summer) and enjoying everything minus the weather. It is hot and humid but that is to be expected for this time of year. Looking forward to the winter, should cool down a little hopefully. Can't wait to get back home so I can see my friends again. That's about all for now, will update as I get more on whats going on.

Random post *as usual* [21 Aug 2010|10:35pm]
Well, sititn' here in Missouri visiting this girl that I have been talking to for over a year. Finally, after 2 other offers to have me come down, I decided to say what the hell and make the trip. It's not too bad, kinda cool to see who I have been talking to over the phone and online after all this time. The only thing that sucks is the GODDAMN weather. It is hot as hell here and not to mention the humidity which just straight out makes it all that much more miserable but thankfully the place we are staying has EXCELLENT A/C, which makes it a little more tolerable.

Stolen from starwefter who snagged it elsewhere, where it doesn't really matter to me, just following the instructions below:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).

Excerpt from a great book of a great series called The House of Night (series name; Book is called "Tempted")

Stevie Rae's eyes widened as a thought struck her. It was the fact that he was hurt that had caused this mess! If he'd been whole and attacking her, or any of the others, she wouldn't have hesitated to protect herself or anyone else.
So what if I just get him someplace he can heal? Yes! That was the answer! She didn't have to protect him.

RANDOMNESS [19 Jun 2010|12:42am]
[ mood | awake ]

Well, it's been too long since I last posted. I recently came back from a trip to California for an anime convention. I had a blast. Still looking for a job, so if anyone knows somewhere that is hiring near the hospital, please let me know, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, SSDD really.

GOD it's been forever since I posted last, though not much has been going on in my life. I got a laptop and an 8 gig iPod touch and other than that, nothing really new.

Writer's Block: What do you want to do before you die? [06 Jan 2010|09:45am]
What do you want to do before you die?
Well, to be honest, there's quite a bit that I want to do before I die, not that I will be able to make it through all of them. The list is waaaaaay too long for me to even begin to start, this post will be GINORMOUS if I tried.

Writer's Block: I'm with the band [02 Jan 2010|11:05am]
If you could be a member of any musical group, past or present, which group would you choose and why?
That's a difficult one. If I had to chose, I'd say either the Beatles or the Monkees. It would be great to be able to be a BIG part of music history.

If you celebrate Christmas, what will you do this evening? If you don't, will you still do something festive or is it just another night?
Hang out with the people I care about the most and enjoy the holiday season as best I can.

Writer's Block: Take this job and shove it ... [17 Dec 2009|12:41am]
Have you ever walked off a job on the spot? What drove you to it? Did you regret it afterwards?
I can honestly say that I haven't walked off a job, but there were many times that I considered it.

Traveling during the holidays can be chaotic. How will you use technology to ensure the trips you have planned remain stress free?
Travel plans? I don't know what you speak of. I have no travel plans. I intend to stay where I am, unless something decides to change, which is a possibility.

Writer's Block: It's Never Too Early... [23 Nov 2009|09:02pm]
[ mood | cold ]

Black Friday is the unofficial kickoff to the holiday shopping season. When are you planning on beginning your holiday shopping?
NOT GOING ANYWHERE TO SHOP ON BLACK FRIDAY. I personally hate black Friday, it is not a bad thing for the stores but for people like me who just want to get in and get out of places like Wal-Mart, it is a pain in the butt just to do that.

Writer's Block: First Things First [19 Nov 2009|04:36pm]
What’s the first thing you do when you log into your computer everyday?
The first thing I ever do when I get on the computer is check my email to see what kind of random stuff has been sent to me. I also keep an eye out for an email from my dad with any important family news since I don't have any other way to keep in contact with him.

Writer's Block: Book review [18 Nov 2009|01:29pm]
[ mood | awake ]

What (if any) books would you ban from a high school library? Are there certain subjects that you feel are inappropriate for teenagers regardless of literary merit?
Honestly, if I were to have any say in the matter, I wouldn't ban any books. If a student picks up a book, they should be responsible for the content and whether or not they feel it is appropriate for them or not. They should be responsible enough to make the decision of whether or not they should be reading a certain type of book; they are going to find out about something one way or another, whether by book, by their parents, t.v., or internet, it will be just a matter of time until they "discover" certain things.

It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too long since I last posted but that's only because I haven't had a lot that I could post about. I am still looking for a job, but for anyone in my area, just a heads up, if you know anyone that needs snow removal this winter and they are near the hospital, please let me know so I can at least do something with my time. Other than that, I got an email from my dad, who's been out hunting for elk. He finally got one a 6*6 bull which is pretty neat.

Well, I have found out how much my tax return is gonna be....almost $900 which is after the payment for the tax return and all other fees but still, I can't wait for that to come in....I will be pretty happy with it (until I do what I've already done with the majority...make that the whole thing......SPENT IT ALL ON WTF type stuff) I now have a PSP to replace the one I sold a few years back to a friend....I now have a more permanent source of music when the screen on my Zune cracks too badly, though I have to say, it's held up pretty well considering how many times I have dropped it, etc.
